BREAKING: APC Disqualifies Shittu From Oyo Governorship Race Over NYSC Scandal

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified Adebayo Shittu, Minister of Communications, from the race for the party’s governorship ticket in Oyo State.

APC’s governorship aspirant screening committee initially cleared Shittu despite the emergence of evidence he did not undergo the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) — same offense for which Kemi Adeosun had to quit her position as Finance Minister.

However, after the party’s National Working Committee NWC) met to review the report of the screening committee, it decided against clearing him.
