Another life has been claimed in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital, following a renewed clash between two rival cult groups.
According to reports, a young man identified as Ebiteinye Sele, from Brass region in the state – was shot dead by suspected cult members in Yenagoa yesterday.
The deceased was said to have been attacked by the cult group and shot at close range. He immediately died on the spot.
His corpse was later removed by security agents and deposited at the mortuary.
It was gathered, that the casualties may increase in the next few days as the killing spree continues.
