The Kebbi State Police Command on Tuesday, paraded a suspected herdsman, Bubuga Kuaara for allegedly killing a police inspector, Umaru Danladi.
Kuaara was said to have killed Danladi with a cutlass.
Before his death, the deceased was attached to Koaje police division in Baguo local government of Kebbi State.
Kebbi Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Kabiru, while parading the suspect on Tuesday, said Kuaara would be charged to court.
Kuaara confessed that he killed the police inspector with a cutlass for detaining him.
Kuaara said: “I killed the policeman for arresting me, because a farmer had reported me to the police.”
The Kebbi State commissioner of police, Ibrahim Kabiru told journalists that “The command has embarked on raiding of criminal hideouts in order to make Kebbi State safe and secure for more economic growth and development.”
