Kanye West has dropped a pretty big shocker. The G.O.O.D. Music star revealed he switched up the entire Ye album after his recent TMZ appearance.
In a new interview with radio veteran Big Boy, Yeezy explained how he made Ye and why the project sounds different from what he originally created.
“I just completely did a completely new album. I wanted something that felt with the energy. With what the universe was giving me, I wanted something that matched that energy. … I believe ‘Ye’ is the most commonly used word in the Bible. I means you. I’m you. I’m us. It’s us. It went from Kanye being only one to Ye being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused – I’m more of a reflection of who we are. … I completely redid the album after TMZ. We just sat there and really honed in on the words. Because also we know now is all headline. There’s even bars we had about that. I took a bar off the album. It was too sensitive.” (Big Boy TV)
