Maleek Shoyebi (born August 11, 1987), professionally known as Maleek Berry, is a British-born Nigerian record producer and recording artist. He was signed under Wizkid’s Starboy Entertainment in 2013. After his break into the spotlight in 2012, Maleek Berry was nominated in the “Music Producer of the Year” category at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. Maleek Berry has worked with prominent artists such as Wizkid, Davido, Wale, Fuse ODG, Runtown and Iyanya. In 2017 he was nominated in the Best Male category of the annual MOBO Awards.

R&B singer and producer who is widely known for his work in Nigerian pop. His April 2016 self-produced single “Kontrol” earned viral status, and its music video amassed more than 100,000 views on YouTube in its first week.

He began songwriting and producing at age 14 with two of his friends. He has also earned his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.

In 2014, he was nominated for the Nigerian Music award for Nigerian Producer of the Year. In 2015, he served as an executive producer on Wande Coal’s popular album Wanted.

He has been a frequent collaborator of Wizkid’s as both a producer and fellow singer.
