This is the bizarre moment a greedy snake with eyes too big for its stomach devours a huge frog in one gulp.

Snakecatcher Sujith VP, 28, spotted the large eyed bronzeback tree snake with the amphibian’s huge body dangling from its jaws.

The skinny reptile swallowed the huge four-inch wide frog – with the long legs the last bit to disappear – before slithering off into the forest in Kerala, India.

At one point the ballooning body of the frog dwarfs the snake’s tiny head as it munches away with determination.

Sujith said: ‘I have never witnessed anything like this before.’
