Nigerian Celebrities and Fake wears

Terry G called himself King of the bling bling years ago till he got called out by Mallam Spicy that he wears jewelries of N1500. It was a hilarious clap back during a spell of beef between the two artistes at the time.

Celebrities especially music artistes always feel the need to rock chains and wrist watches of high quality to show the culture and also flaunt their wealth. Looking flashy for them is part of the art. Dress well, rock designer shoes, expensive perfumes, cute shades and nice little collection of rings to go with the whole setup.

What goes missing most of the time to their fans is that most of these celebrities wear a lit of fake stuffs but hide under fame to color them as the real deal. Yawa only gas when they are called out by people who actually possess the original or are well informed to be able to distinguish between a fake design and the original.

The latest victim of this is Kiss Daniel who posted himself wearing a Louis Vuitton clothe but alas it was the fake one and he got called out and rightly so. These guys wear these designs and flaunt them ay the faces of their fans and admirers to show they are living la vida loca and that they can afford the good things of life. They tension the fans and are deceptive whilst at it forgetting nothing is wrong if you live within your means or just rock what you can without actually trying to go all out to prove a sick point.

In fairness, celebrities fall victims as well. They are scammed by store owners who market items knowing fully well they’re fake but go ahead to sell at the price of the original item or piece. Fake online stores, fraudulent fashion stylist or outright ignorance also is a factor.

So the next time you throw that stone of criticism, be sure you know if it’s a case of the person in question deliberately trying to deceive or the person is just a victim as well.
